The much awaited Oscar contender Still Alice was released today. The movie is a grim reality of the life of a 50 year old woman struck by a rare form of Alzheimer's and the progression of this life altering disease.
Orlagh Cassidy plays primary care doctor to Julianne Moore's 'Alice' whom she consults at the beginning of the decline in her condition. It is a harsh look into the real life issues many face - yet portrayed so brilliantly on the big screen while written and directed with such care and grace by Richard Glatzer and Wash Westmoreland.
